And now we’re launching Buzztala — an exciting new software platform to help business get the most out of web video and drive eCommerce. Zazoom is led by a team of professionals with deep experience in media and technology.


Tim Minton, Chief Executive Officer

As co-founder and CEO, Tim is responsible for Zazoom’s strategic direction, evaluating and ensuring value propositions in content partnerships and technology project development. He has overseen build out of the Company’s web video distribution network and managed diversification across multiple paths to revenue. Prior to Zazoom, Tim was a news correspondent with more than 20 years of on-air experience in the USA’s number one media market. An 18-time Emmy winner, he appeared on both NBC-4 and ABC-7 in New York City. Tim also contributed content to multiple NBC Universal platforms, including the network’s websites and DOOH taxi and transit screens. Prior to his television career he wrote stories for the New York Times.

Steve Bradbury, Chief Operating Officer

Steve brings over two decades of knowledge and hands-on experience to the intersection of content strategy, distribution and monetization on current and legacy platforms. Prior to Zazoom, he ran the boutique consultancy Vlocity Digital, providing multi-platform advisory services to media, entertainment and consumer products companies. Steve has also held roles as VP, Content Strategy & Business Affairs for GoTV Networks, the premiere U.S. mobile media network, MGM Worldwide Television and Universal TV. Steve moderates panels at many major conferences, is a board member of the Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University and led the Hollywood & Digital program at UCLA Extension for seven years. And, we’re pretty sure he’s a big Yankees fan

Philip O’Brien, President

Philip is a co-founder and the President of Zazoom. Within those roles, he is responsible for all editorial, content and studio operations. These range from talent and newsroom hiring, setting editorial style and direction; overseeing specials, customized productions and pilots; and managing partner relations within the content sphere. Philip spent more than 25 years in local New York and network TV news before founding Zazoom. He held key news management positions at NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox and was a founder of the innovative News York 1 News in 1992. He had a leadership role in news coverage of both attacks at the World Trade Center, for which he earned an Edward R. Morrow award; and an Emmy Award for coverage of the 2003 Northeast Blackout.

Mark Van Note, Lead Investor + Advisor

Mark invests in, operates and advises high-growth-potential firms in technology, marketing and healthcare. During the past 25 years, Mark has been instrumental in starting more than 15 businesses. Several have spanned from startup to exit including: Avistar (now public), Vicor (acquired by Fidelity Information Systems), and Plural (acquired by Dell). Mark is currently co-founder and partner at M Squared Group; chairman of the board at Sparkweave; vice chairman of the Fairview Foundation. He also is on the board of Medspira, a joint venture with the Mayo Clinic, and is the author of a book on financial advice for businesses. Mark earned an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and attended business school at L’ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales near Paris.

Lawrence K. Fleischman, Advisor

Lawrence Fleischman is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Interline Travel & Tour, Inc., a travel company operating in the United States, Canada and Europe, which sells deeply discounted hotel rooms, cruise cabins and tours to airline employees and their friends and families. Interline was started 10 years ago to acquire the assets of a failing company in this industry and has since purchased six additional companies in the same business. Lawrence has been an investment banker since 1978 and specializes in the turnaround of troubled companies and investing in small capitalization companies. He graduated with a BA from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and received his MBA from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Rob Deutschman, Advisor

Rob Deutschman has extensive experience in raising capital for both public and private companies, as well as providing M&A and financial advisory services to both domestic and international companies. Rob is a partner at Cappello Capital Corp., a middle market investment bank headquartered in Los Angeles. He also serves as the vice chairman of the board of directors of Enron Creditors Recovery Corp., a board member of MPG Office Trust (NYSE:MPG), and is a member of the board of the RAND Center for Corporate Ethics and Governance. Rob earned his bachelor degree with honors in political science at Haverford College and his law degree from Columbia University.
